Query Control Panel command is disabled

I'm tired of having to recreate each query from scratch when I want to add a column. How can I get the Query Control Panel command enabled in the Database menu of SAP Crystal Reports 14.0.4.738 RTM? Online help doesn't help with this point. I've tried all I can think of to make it enable, but no such luck.Image may be NSFW.
