Hi,
We have external facing SAP enterprise portal connected to CRM ABAP system. All logon user ids are maintained in external facing portal UME, in the CRM ABAP system we have different SU01 (user ids) so user mapping is maintained portal UME.
Example: logon id for John Smith in external portal UME is "jsmith", CRM ABAP SU01 will have "prt-jsmith" with alias "jsmith". CRM ABAP is configured as reference system in external facing portal hence we maintain mapping in the external facing portal UME for John smith.
The SSO between external facing portal and CRM system is working fine.
We have a requirement to expose BW reports on external facing portal. BW Java UME is connected to BW ABAP. BW ABAP SU01 maintains user id same as CRM system i.e. "prt-jsmith", when external portal is presenting the SAP Logon ticket to BW portal the ticket is not accepted and challenges user to enter user id and password. The SAP Logon ticket user mappings works only when we directly connect to BW ABAP system.
I have import/export certificates as follows
1) External portal certificate exported and imported to BW Java and BW ABAP
2) BW Java portal certificate exported and imported to external portal
3) CRM ABAP certificate exported and imported into external portal, BW Java and BW ABAP.
4) BW ABAP certificate is exported and imported into CRM, BW Java, external portal
Can you please share your experience if it's possible to SSO between external portal and BW portal with user mapping ?
Regards
Siva
