We have started to use statistical WBS on PM Work Orders to track our outage costs versus budget. Using report S_ALR_87013558 to show Budget/Actual/Committed/Rem Plan is perfect for our outage reporting.
NOTE: All the PM Work Orders settle to I/O not the WBS
There are 2 issues we are facing
1. When an actual posting is made to a work order either SES or GR the actual cost is posted to the WBS hierarchy as expected and what we want. See below.
When the work order is settled (KO88) the actual cost that is posted to the WBS disappears leaving zero so the report is useless.
2. Taking the above issue in mind there are lot of these work order have actual costs assigned before we assigned the statistical WBS. Is there a way to make the actual cost get assigned to the WBS hierarchy?
The part I don't understand is that the work order plan and committed cost are there real-time which is fantastic but the actuals seem like they rely on a posting job. Am I correct?
Hope someone can help this will improve our outage reporting by 100%
