Unable to open fields within table

This is all in the reports wizard:

I am trying to link CR 2013 with eClinicalWorks. I can create the ODBC connection fine, but when I select a table to view its fields, I cannot expand the table. I have seen the article about an ODBC issue, and have tried version 5.1 along with 3.51 to no avail.

Also, if I select a table, goto select the fields, click back, and select another, CR locks up when I click next.

I am not quite sure where to start troubleshooting this, so any suggestions are appreciated.
