Guideline for BI Content Enhancement

Hi,

I am relatively new to BW. I need some guidance here. I try to use standard BI Content as much as possible. But based on client requirement, I need to add some InfoObjects in a standard Business Content InfoCube. What is best strategy for this, some options that I can think of :

1. Directly add InfoObject to standard BI Content;

2. Create new customer InfoCube (with added infoobject) and then create transformation from standard infocube to this standard customer cube to copy the data;

3. Copy infocube and all data flow into new customer infocube, and create this enhancement in this copy of infocube and data flow

Is there better option ? Is there any standard guideline here that I can refer to ?
