I am trying to setup MaxDB 7.8 Database as Disaster Recovery. I have taken full MaxDB database backup on source server with external backup i.e. through Data Protector 6.20. And trying to restore MaxDB database full backup on target server through Data Protector 6.20 but after restoration is completed the MaxDB database starts in Online mode...I want after restoration is completed the MaxDB database should be i.e. in offline or admin mode. So that i can have MaxDB DR site so that i can apply logs from Source server to Target server. But once MaxDB database is openend in Online mode on Target server i will not be able to apply the logs. And so both Source MaxDB and Target MaxDB database won;t be in sync.
Please let me know what i need to do so that once restoration is started on target server through Data Protector the MaxDB database should not startup in Online mode after restoration is completed.
