Dear PI experts,
I have now successfully defined a data type enhancement to add custom fields to the SAP-delivered HCM-to-SuccessFactors Compensation Integration. I did a full refresh of the PI cache. I went to SPROXY on the HCM system and generated the proxy for my data type enhancement. Now when I view the SAP message type in SPROXY I can see my custom fields. Yet when I run the tcode to extract the HCM data and send it to SuccessFactors through PI, none of my custom fields is transferred. I looked at the message payload for the message from HCM to PI, and it shows no trace of my custom fields, so I believe the problem in on the HCM side, not the PI side.
Interestingly, when I display the standard SAP data type (the one I've enhanced) it does not show the custom fields. Is that normal behavior? Or is it an indication of a problem?
Here's what I have done so far to troubleshoot:
1. Did a full cache refresh using the URL method.
2. Did a cache refresh in SXI_CACHE on the ABAP side of PI.
3. Made sure everything in PI is activated.
4. Made sure everything in HCM is generated and activated.
Any and all help is welcome.
