CMC connection, error FMW 01003, server not found or may be down

Hi everyone,

 

We are experiencing a problem while connecting the CMC, BI launchPad or even server browsing in the CCM.

No authentification works anymore.

We are working on a test server, that is hosting BI plateform (XI4 SP4) and an business database (ORACLE 11g).

 

We didn't perform any update or even parameters modification during last weeks.

Starting monday, as we tried to connect to the CMC, we had this message, after typing the password :

 

•Error :  BI4:6400 server not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null

 

In the .glf file, I have more information (my translation could seem more or less accurate...) :

 

Server Intelligence Agent :  BI4.CentralManagementServer server is considered having failed, because it stopped 5 times the last 60 minutes. Restart the server.

Server Intelligence Agent : CMS BI4.CentralManagementServer failed and the Server Intelligence Agent couldn't connect to the cluster. look at CMS ports and database parameters.

 

At first we tried to restart the SIA and tomcat, then the server.

In the CCM, everything looks fine (SIA and TOMCAT launched), but when we go to the task manager, CMS.exe isn't runing. I read that it could be some connection problem between CMS.exe and the CMS database. I tried to recreate the ODBC, then link it to the SIA, it didn't work.

I tried to recreate the SIA too, but I couldn't achieve it. I have the following error in the "addnode" log :

 

ERROR : CMS stopped in an unexpected way. Output code 0.

 

I have no further information on this error.

 

 

The only clue we have on what could have happened, is that we were running a huge ETL process that ran out of disk space, the first time the problem occured (as we found out in the log files).

 

 

Any idea? We are running out of options...
